Welcome to the family of faith at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Fremont, Ohio!  Multiple generations of St. John’s people have worked together here for the good of all ever since this congregation was first planted in 1843.  St. John’s has helped generation after generation grow in faith through many life changes, and St. John’s continues through the Holy Spirit to be a source of faith, hope, love and service. 

While I myself am a recent immigrant to Northwest Ohio, I am thrilled and delighted to be called as St. John’s new pastor.  St. John’s is not only families formed by  blood and marriage -- it is also a family of faith for all people through the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.  And so St. John’s continues to reach out to unite with those of our family of faith we have yet to meet!

And so we pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to knit our extended family of faith together ever more closely as the body of Christ, and continue to guide and empower us to reach out to all God’s children so each child of God may grow in faith, hope and love.
