St. John's Lutheran Church notes for July 26, 2008

Sunday, July 27^th, is the 11^th Sunday after Pentecost. Our worship services are held at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The Sunday School hour is from 9:15-10:15 a.m., every Sunday morning. We offer classes for all ages. Thursday evening services begin at 7:00 p.m.

Our Summer Sunday School program is under way. This year's theme is "Growing in God's Garden". When kids attend 3 times they receive a Dairy Queen certificate.

Sunday evening our Vacation Bible School Program begins. There will be classes for 3 year olds- 6^th Graders, we also offer an Adult class. The sessions will be from 6:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m., through Thursday, July 31^st. Come enjoy the stories, games, crafts and songs!! Thursday evening will be a picnic with hot dogs, chips and ice cream. The closing program will be part of the Thursday evening worship service.
